 What to Expect at Discover Rutgers–Camden Day

Prospective first-year and transfer students will tour our beautiful campus with current students, meet with faculty about academic opportunities, and learn about student life, financial aid, and admissions.

  • Find out about Rutgers–Camden offerings during the student activities and information fair.
  • Meet our students and ask them questions at the student panel.
  • Hear from our faculty about the many academic opportunities and advantages during breakout sessions.
  • Get the inside scoop on admissions and the financial aid process.
  • Explore our beautiful 40-acre campus in the heart of the Camden Waterfront on a student-led tour.
  • Learn about our innovative Bridging the Gap program that reduces tuition up to 100 percent.

In addition to the general program, you can enhance your visit by choosing to attend presentations about the following: Honors CollegeLeadership Institute, or the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF).

Centenary

Centenary University is hosting an evening specifically designed to provide an overview of the accommodations and support services offered by the university for identified members of our community.  Prospective students and their families are invited to join us on Tuesday, February 21, in the Lackland Center at Centenary to meet with members of our Disability Services Office.

We are pleased to inform you that registration is now open for School of Engineering tours for the spring semester. There will only be four tour dates for prospective students (students that have not applied for fall 2017 enrollment). 

On Fridays, March 31, April 14, and April 21, our Knight for a Day tours begin at 10 a.m. at the Visitor Center with an admissions information session, followed by a five-campus bus tour. During the bus tour, families will be able to view one of the first-year residence halls on the Busch Campus. They will also break for lunch (on their own) before heading to the school-specific portion of the day at 1 p.m. Again, a detailed itinerary will be provided once registered

Department options include one of the following:
Biomedical & Chemical/Biochemical

Civil/Environmental & Materials Science

Electrical/Computer & Industrial Systems

Mechanical/Aerospace & Applied Science/Packaging

Families can register for these tours while space is available.
